I graduated from Rhodes College in 1997, then spent three years at Allied Advertising in Washington, DC, handling public relations and promotions for film studios like Miramax, Sony Classics and MGM. I moved back to Memphis in 2000 and did short stints at Towery and the National Conference for Community and Justice before joining archer>malmo in 2002.
At archer>malmo, I handled national PR for Gate Gourmet, Peabody Hotel and Memphis Zoo. After two years of press releases, I migrated to the creative department and worked on print, outdoor, online, radio and TV for a variety of clients, including Smith & Nephew, Valent USA, the Memphis Zoo, CB Richard Ellis, Medtronic, TruGreen, Markwins International and the Southern Festival of Books.
I left archer>malmo in August 2006 and now split my time between copywriting and my other job: co-owner of Goner Records, a record shop and label. I've worked with clients like Baptist Hospital, Rhodes College and West Memphis Tourism both directly and through ad agencies.
I live in Midtown Memphis with my wife Amy and two great kids, Anna and Aron.
